Kennedy Trailers located in Bairnsdale VIC, has a vacancy for the positions of Boilermakers, Metal Fabricators and Welders. These are permanent, full time positions.

We manufacture state of the art transport equipment from steel plate through to the finished product as it rolls out the gate.

Tasks include but are not limited to:

• Reading, understanding, setup and fabricating from CAD drawing packages
• Oxy Cutting, grinding, welding and general fabricating methods.
• Handling various type of metal products
• Repairing semi-trailers and heavy components on an ongoing basis.

To qualify this position, Skills, Qualifications and Experience

• Have AQF Certificate lll Fabrication Trade or equivalent or relevant experience
• minimum 5 years' experience as a boiler maker/metal fabricator/welder
• Ability to show a high level of skill in following manufactures guidance ensuring quality workmanship.
• have a strong adherence OH&S and in keeping a safe workplace.
• self-motivated and able to work independently as required.

Remuneration/Salary

$53, 000 to $60,000 per annum

Remuneration will reflect current market conditions and industry award rates. To be discussed with the successful applicant.
