Since 1993, we have been designing, developing and manufacturing a wide range of waste bins and related products to solve the waste management problems of businesses today. We are passionate about developing new, innovative ways of managing waste for our customers and we pride ourselves on our ability to solve problems.

Position Details:

• Casual, permanent position. Full time opportunities after 6 month review. 
• Shift work may be required. 
• studying blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine job requirements
• Ensuring fabrication/repair standards are maintained to high standards for the safe and efficient operation.

• selecting, cleaning and preparing metal stock
• cutting marked-out metal sections and shapes using hand tools, flame cutting torches and metal cutting machines
• repairing construction equipment
• aligning parts to be joined using hand tools and measuring instruments
• joining metal sections using various welding techniques, bolting and riveting
• application of hard facing to equipment using MMAW and MIG welding techniques

Skills and Experience

To be eligible for this role, applicants must:

• have AQF III Fabrication Trade or relevant experience
• minimum 4 years’ experience
• have knowledge in using MMAW, GMAW and FCAW welding processes
• experience in welding structural steel
• have ability to work with a range of metal types and thicknesses
• Be competent in the reading of engineering drawings and have a good knowledge and understanding welding symbols
• have a strong adherence OH&S and in keeping as safe workplace
• self-motivated and able to work independently as required
