- Examining and determining the most effective way to fertilize and apply chemicals to achieve optimum land usage.
- Identifying any harmful insects, weeds, parasites, or fungi and suggesting chemicals to control the problem.
- Analyzing production to maintain and establish standards of quality.
- Formulate feed formula and supervise livestock for control of effectiveness.
- Managing breeding selection for optimum production via insemination
- Liaising with vet’s as to utilizing the required drugs for optimum health and breeding programs.
- Advising on farming farm cropping and rotation, including modern techniques
- Developing and supervising protocols for milk harvesting.
- Training and supervise new staff.
- Operating and maintaining machinery from the milking shed and operational machinery i.e.. Tractor’s, harvesters, etc.
