Welfare Recruitment Solutions have been approached by one of the most well regarded agencies that provide Out of Home Care services in NSW to assist in the recruitment of a Carer Recruitment and Development Worker on a permanent, 3 day/week basis, based in Batemans Bay.

Role
As the successful candidate, your role will responsible for recruiting, assessing and training potential foster carers. This will involve working in a trauma-informed practice framework, supporting carers to provide a nurturing environment, promoting the physical and emotional safety of children and young people, as well as planning and delivering training to carers to ensure they can help the children and young people in the best possible way.

Criteria
As the successful candidate, you will have:
  • Degree level qualifications in social work, psychology or related field
  • Experience in carrying out assessments with a child protection focus
  • Experience in running groups and delivering training
  • Excellent report writing skills
  • Drivers licence.
  • Certification as a Step by Step Assessor would be desirable but not essential
Further Info
In return, you will be offered a salary in the region of $82-86k (pro rata) + Super + the benefits of salary packaging associated for working with a NFP organisation. You will also get flexible working conditions and supportive team environment.
