JOB DESCRIPTION

MATX Construction is a small contracting business. We looking for a 1st year carpentry apprentice to join the team.
We specialise in the installation of Stratco verandas and decks. Work is based across the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

Work is Monday to Friday with some Saturday’s.

To be successful you will need to have the following:

Completed Year 12
A white card
Basic knowledge of hand tools
Commitment and enthusiasm with a genuine interest
Physically fit and capable
Preferred but not essential
Driver licence
Own car
Own basic hand tools
Completed a pre apprenticeship

Please include a cover letter with your resume demonstrating how you meet the above criteria and why you would like a career in carpentry.

To be eligible for an apprenticeship or traineeship you must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have full working rights within Australia.
