Gippsland’s local TAFE is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic industry expert to join our Engineering Teaching Team in a casual capacity. About the Role

Our Engineering Teaching team delivers across a multitude of entry level, apprenticeship and post-trade qualifications. We are seeking an Engineering Fabrication Trade expert to deliver within our Cert II and Cert III Career Pathways programs. As a Casual Teacher, you will deliver high quality training and assessment, develop innovative resources and assessment materials, and undertake educationaladministration. You will provide students with support and advice, and equip them with the skills and knowledge required in order to prepare them for a career within the Engineering field.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment plus TAEASS502 and TAELLN411; or TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Minimum Certificate III in Engineering Fabrication
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience, post apprenticeship
  • Driver’s Licence;
  • Current Victorian Working with Children Check; and
  • Current Police check (not older than 12 months)
