We are currently recruiting for a Procurement Project Manager to join our team based at our Welshpool office. This is an exciting role that will see you take responsibility for procurement activities within assigned project(s) to be executed in accordance with overall project schedule and budgets. You will act as an integral part of project team, closely collaborating with the Project Managers and other relevant project team members.

Major Responsibilities:-

  • Actively develops sourcing alternatives and delivers cost saving potentials
  • Leads negotiations with suppliers
  • Issues and tracks RFI’s, RFQ’s and tender proposals
  • Develops supplier agreements, reviews all customer requirements and supplier contractual issues for specific projects
  • Collaborates with project managers and other relevant project team members
  • Influencing the selection of various project delivery models through the project phase
  • Engages with and expedites internal departments in providing relevant documentation for timely RFQ process and PO placement
  • Purchase orders – meet project requirements regarding costs, time & quality.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
  • Minimum 5 years proven working experience in a relevant discipline
  • In-depth knowledge of procurement and global sourcing
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver in a fast paced, changing environment while maintaining high attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a team or individually on multiple concurrent projects
  • Strong project management experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with proven ability to deal with colleagues, internal and external clients in a professional manner.
